Everyone loves a (s)linky
Couldn’t I be a headline writer at The Sun with punning skills like that?
- Bottled water is still a scam - the environmental statistics are especially interesting. Does this mean Dasani is actually a more eco-friendly bottled water choice? As much as I hate Coca-Cola products, it might well be. It’s basically tap water, so at least isn’t imported from Fiji.
- Bring the noise - all about “the little bursts of sound that elevate a song from ‘all right to ‘blimey’”.
- Skip the search, figure it out on your own - is Google giving us Alzheimers?
- When not to hyphenate your name - these people are either idiots or masochists.
- Google never forgets - “in 20 years time, your kids will be able to read all about what a stupid, evil little bigot you were”.
- Cruel and illusory security - more people were hurt by overbearing airport bureaucracy in the recent Glasgow airport attack than by the attack itself.
- Anti-DRM t-shirt designs - a few slightly over-dramatise the issue, but some great (and hilarious!) work nonetheless.
- Rochambeau the front line - the greatest fast-food promotion in history.
- Top 10 things female gamers hear on XBox Live - “you must be fat and ugly since you play video games”.
These recent blog carnivals featuring some of my posts are all worth a look: Corporate Vigilance, Dodgeblogium, Doing It Differently, Enviroblog, Fiction Scribe, Thoughts and Philosophies, and Web Dosh.
Cheers too to all the blogs that have linked here recently, especially Internet Duct Tape, Craig McGinty, Look at This, and Losing It.
